Privacy policy

Floutix is built to protect your anonymity. Your photos and videos are processed on your iPhone. They only leave it when you use a feature that tells you so clearly, and they are never sold.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

2. What we store

• Your account: an identifier (anonymous at first), your username, your language and country.
• Your email, only if you link your account (with Apple or with an email code): to recover your account on another iPhone and send you the sign-in code.
• Your purchases: your plan, your AI credits and the history provided by Apple, without your payment details.
• Your usage: the number of photos and videos protected per day, to apply your plan’s limits, and usage statistics (screens opened, errors) to improve the app.
• The leak tracer: the name you give each recipient, the invisible code of each copy and its date.
• Your profile, only if you fill it in: first name, age range, gender, city, how you heard about Floutix. All optional and erasable.
• Your approximate city, derived from your internet connection (to about 10 km). Never your phone’s GPS.
• Your messages to support, with any photos and voice messages you send there. The first reply may be written by an AI; it never receives your photos.
• An encrypted fingerprint of your iPhone, so the same phone does not receive gifts several times and to fight fraud. It does not reveal who you are.
• A notification token, if you allow notifications.

3. Your photos

• Blurring, watermarking, the protected ID copy and reading leak-tracer codes happen on your iPhone.
• AI features (finding tattoos and license plates, erasing tattoos, AI Eraser): a copy of the photo is sent to our image-processing providers for the time of the processing. It is not kept.
• Leak search: the photo you choose is sent to search where it appears on the web, then deleted. With auto monitoring, we keep a small copy to check it again, until you remove it or delete your account.
• Help Floutix (by invitation, only if you say yes): the already protected photos you choose to share, with where the hidden areas are, are kept to improve detection. Never the original. You can stop at any time: your shares are deleted.
• Your originals stay on your iPhone, in a vault protected by Face ID.

4. Why, and on what legal basis

• Providing the service and your purchases: performance of a contract.
• Security, fraud and abuse prevention, usage statistics: our legitimate interests.
• Optional profile, notifications, personalised advertising: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Advertising (free plan)

On the free plan, you can choose to watch a short video ad to unlock one more photo or video. Ads are provided by an advertising partner, shown in the app’s consent window. If you accept personalised ads, it may use your phone’s advertising identifier; otherwise ads are non-personalised. It never has access to your photos.

6. Who receives your data?

Only technical providers acting on our behalf and on our instructions (hosting, image processing, search, email and notification delivery), Apple for payments, and the advertising partner described above. We never sell your data. Some providers are located outside the United Kingdom and the European Union: these transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses).

7. How long?

For as long as your account exists. When you delete it, your data is erased within 30 days, except the encrypted iPhone fingerprint (kept only to prevent abuse) and what the law requires us to keep (for example purchase records).

8. Your rights

You can access, correct and erase your data, get a copy of it, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw your consent. Delete your account in the app (Settings › Delete my account) or write to support@floutix.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority: the ICO in the United Kingdom, or the authority of your country.

9. Children

Floutix is not intended for children under 13. If you are below the age of digital consent in your country, ask a parent for permission.

10. This website

floutix.com uses no advertising cookies and no tracking tools. Our servers keep short technical logs for security.

11. Security and changes

Connections are encrypted and access to data is restricted. If this policy changes, the date above is updated and important changes are announced in the app.
