Frequently asked questions
Do I need a subscription to receive?
No. Receiving is free for everyone aged 18 and over. Sending is with Pro or Premium.
Can Floutix see my photos?
No. They’re encrypted on your iPhone before leaving and only your recipient’s iPhone can open them. Our servers only hold unreadable data, erased once opened.
Can I change my @username?
The username you start with can be replaced once, with a paid plan, by a free one. After that, it’s permanent. For another name, create an extra profile.
Why no text messages?
Floutix is for sending protected photos and videos, not for chatting. A short caption is enough.
